We are sorry to report that our esteemed Life Member, Mr John Murphy, passed away in his sleep on 10 August 2011. He had a long and distinguished career in golf administration in the Illawarra District and at his home club, Wollongong.He leaves behind a long list of friends and admirers in this area.
His funeral service is to be held at Parsons Funeral Service at Bulli on Monday 15 August 2011 at noon. Our condolences and best wishes are extended to his family.
