It is with sadness that I have to report the passing of Peter Kennedy, a stalwart at the Port Kembla Golf Club. Over the many years of his membership there he had become an institution at the club. He had been the manager of Port Kembla's "Illawarra" Pennant team for many years and lately had taken over the managership of their Masters Pennant team. He will be sorely missed by all his family and his many friends, both at Port Kembla, and, over the larger area of the Illawarra Association.
